UAE weather alert: NCM forecasts partly cloudy skies with possible rain tomorrow
Winds to strengthen at times, with moderate seas in Arabian Gulf
DUBAI – The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has forecast partly cloudy to occasionally cloudy weather across the UAE tomorrow, with a chance of rainfall in several parts of the country.
According to the latest forecast issued on Tuesday, rain may occur over some coastal, northern and eastern areas as cloud cover develops through the day. Weather conditions are expected to remain generally stable but variable, with clouds increasing at intervals.
Temperatures across the country are likely to remain relatively warm during the daytime, while humidity levels are forecast to rise overnight and into Thursday morning in parts of the UAE.
Temperatures
Earlier on Tuesday, the highest temperature recorded in the UAE reached 36.1°C. The reading was registered in Al Arad at 16:00, while the same temperature was also recorded in Mezaira at 14:15 local time.
Daytime conditions across the Emirates have remained warm this week, particularly in inland desert areas where temperatures tend to climb higher compared with coastal locations.
Mountain regions, however, experienced much cooler conditions overnight. The lowest temperature recorded across the country on Tuesday morning was 12.7°C, measured at 02:00 in Jebel Jais, the UAE’s highest peak.
The cooler mountain climate often produces some of the lowest temperatures recorded nationwide, especially during the early hours of the morning.
Wind conditions
The NCM expects winds to remain light to moderate, although they may occasionally become active at times during the day.
Winds are forecast to blow northwesterly to northeasterly, with speeds ranging between 10 and 25 km/h, potentially strengthening to around 40 km/h in some areas. These stronger gusts could cause blowing dust in open desert areas and may slightly reduce visibility at times.

Humidity levels are expected to increase during the night, particularly in coastal and inland locations, bringing more humid conditions into Thursday morning.
Sea state
Sea conditions are forecast to remain moderate to slight in the Arabian Gulf, according to the NCM.
Tidal movements in the Gulf are expected to include the first high tide at 05:32, followed by the first low tide at 12:27.
In the Oman Sea, waves are predicted to remain slight, although they may become disturbed at times during the morning.
The forecast also details tidal timings for the Oman Sea, with the first high tide at 16:10 and the second high tide at 01:13. The first low tide is expected at 08:41, followed by the second low tide at 20:35.
Weather forecasters continue to monitor cloud developments across the region as atmospheric conditions shift, bringing the possibility of scattered rainfall in parts of the country through the coming day.
